Cheque to “City of Castlegar” with your account number on the memo line. Mail arriving after the due date is considered late.
Running late?
Past the deadline? It's not the end of the world.
If you're past July 2 on property taxes, a 10% penalty applies automatically on the outstanding balance, the City cannot waive it. Pay what you owe now to stop the clock from ticking further. If you can't pay the full amount, call Finance and ask about a partial-payment plan. Nobody will shame you.
