The City's previous CasteMap viewer has been retired. A new mapping tool is under development.
CasteMap, the City's previous online interactive map (built on standard GIS tools), has been retired. The City's page states: “This tool is no longer available. A new mapping tool is under development.”
Until the new mapping tool launches, the City directs residents and professionals to the Property Information Request process for property-specific questions, including:
Submit a Property Information Request through Development Services. The Property Information Authorization PDF is on the Documents & Forms page.
Tip
Have a property file from before?
All zoning regulations are set in Bylaw 1428 (Zoning), adopted July 2024 alongside the Official Community Plan (Bylaw 1427). The bylaw is the authoritative source for what is and isn't permitted on any given property.
The City has not published a launch date for the replacement tool. Watch the City news section, or contact Development Services for the latest status.
